A Friday night note from my brother Mantel Man, who moved this week to his old stomping grounds in Oregon, and is trying to get settled.
Hi all,
Having not had TV for almost three years, I've grown a bit unfamiliar. Up here in Oregon there's a station that plays the sitcom "Frasier" over and over for two or three hours every evening. Even more oddly, it plays a shocking number of commercials for prescription drugs, plus some ads for Hallmark Channel movies and a Christian dating web site.
You won't be surprised to know that I've named this TV station the "harmful side effects channel."

Good, bad, weird, or just lacking in programing inventory - either way, found it strange that the episode pictured above was on late night TV last night (this morning).
