Here's what really happened: the steer was tired of not getting any respect, woke the dog out of a deep satisfying sleep, told him to jump as high as he could, then quickly (for a cow) slid underneath him, merely to garner sympathy from unsuspecting passers-by. The dog's response: "Whatever..."

Me too, Gramps.  : )

Found this shot on Wikimedia Commons. My friend Gubby pointed out that it appears to be a very good PhotoShop job, judging by the reflections on the dogs foreleg and nose. After looking more closely I decided that the cows right foreleg (which never looked right to me, since I have NEVER seen a cow lie like that) was also PhotoShopped on. I could be wrong -- after all, I dont know nuthin bout no Indian Zebu cows -- but I think its a well-executed hoax.

Still, it set up a nice drinking out of the john joke, so Im grateful.  ; )

gramps

Sorry---"John"
Us guys love "John" jokes

gramps

Ok----so you got a smile out of me It was the "drink out of the toilet" thing.

Rick's Cafe
