Happy birthday! My present to you is:
I did not bring you guinea hens and peacocks for your birthday, in retribution for as payback for in the spirit of all of the lovely live chicken gifts you have bestowed upon my daughters.
Nope, sorry, no guinea fowl at all.
I restrained myself. Happy birthday, Dad, and remember . . . be nice to me, or . . .

Ahah----now I'm starting to understand why you are the way you are.
Did any of the chickens or stuff survive?

Happy Birthday Dad. Be thankful you didn't get a picture of a water tower. I hear that's quite spectacle in them there parts.

My uncle used to raise guinea hens. That brought back memories...deeply buried, horrible memories.
Thanks, Laurie. And Happy Birthday Laurie's Dad.

I thought live chicken gifts were what you dodge in those Dr. Scholls shoes...
HAPPY BIRTHDAY to my favorite cow herding, guinea-fowl-bestowing father of a blog friend.
