I've long since outgrown my blog. Not that I haven't been happy at Typepad -- I have! They've been great and I recommend them for so many reasons. But I have reasons to grow and move, so I will.
I need to make a lot of changes. My logo, so to speak, looks as if it had been designed by a five-year-old. Coincidentally, it was designed by a five-year-old.
I bought a new URL or two for my brand-spanking new version of this blog, which will be called something very close to Foolery.
I'm trying very hard to build the site at Squarespace.com; there is much to recommend about Squarespace if you're thinking of transferring your existing site or building a new one, but I'm not that far along yet, so ask me when it's all over. Plus, nothing is never really easy when you have strong opinions but no ideas.
That's me in a nutshell: strong opinions, no ideas. That should probably be the subtitle.
Wish me luck as I try to build a new web site on my lunch hours.

Now, having read through the comments, I see I am in good company with my motto.

And my motto:
Not always right, but never in doubt.

I love it! I think "upgrading" and a good redesign is good for inspiration.

Laurie and SQUAREspace to not seem like words which should even be written on the same page, much less in the same sentence.

@Bob, we have a friend who we have assured his epitaph will be just that. Frequently wrong, never in doubt.
I looked at Squarespace before jumping to Typepad from Wordpress. I'm still trying to maximize things on typepad... it has quirks, though different ones from Wordpress. I'll be interested to see what you come up with, and will want to discuss the technical parts of it with you in, oh, I dunno, JULY maybe?

also for what its worth and in possible observance of no punctuation thursday or something i saw a gorgeous gal on cash cab who looks enough like mrs foolery to actually be mrs foolery
unfortunately in some ways at least she was traveling with a young lady who was on her way to a modeling agency as the y l was the prettier of the two and even of the three as there was indeed another lady in the cab who shall go undescribed
please

I like Blogger, but I'm inept and lazy and don't want to work on/screw up site design and upkeep.
I wish you much luck on your new site, Mizz Foolery...I'll just stay huddled in my cozy little corner of the Blue Nowhere sipping Feckin' Whiskey (in honor of the day) and paddling about in the shallow waters of Blogopolis.
Shade and Sweetwater,

Strong opinions, no ideas, and more talent in your pinky finger than most people have in their entire family.
Can't wait for the new site, even though I'm quite attached to the old one.

and anybody can invent or acquire a clever artistic logo but yours is unique to an extent that its the one thing i certainly would never change
with all due apologies for punctuating my prior comment and in addition the name foolery is so ingrained that i cannot envision your changing it
and also with fitting reference to the grammatical correctness of the statement about your changing it instead of the more common usage of you changing it

I prefer to think of myself as occasionally wrong but never in doubt.
Oh .. blogger works real well for me, and has for 4 years +.
