TNT has a series starring Holly Hunter, which I've never seen. The show is called "Saving Grace."
From the show's web site we learn this:

I know nothing about this show, except that I've heard it's pretty good. And Holly Hunter is cute as a bug's ear, as always. There's just one problem.
If you've ever heard Holly Hunter talk, you know that the title of the show is problematic for her. She probably has a clause in her contract that forbids her to utter the name of the show, which would be
if she said it aloud. And that would be a whole other show.
From the show's web site we learn this:
Academy Award® winner Holly Hunter stars as gutsy Oklahoma City Police Det. Grace Hanadarko, a woman who holds nothing back, whether on the job or in her personal life.

You've nailed it! All this time I've been trying to figure out why the irritation. The accent? No, not at all. The shortness of stature? Possibly, but no.
You've nailed it! Bravo, Ms. Foolery.

And what DOES "cutting-edge" mean? When you live in Birmingham, you try to stay away from stuff with cutting edges. I mean, if you don't, you might get the point.
