hahahaha is all that I can say. That's funny. I think that I love Jimmy too.

MommyTime

Personally I love that this very long pet story is about a jar of peaches, and the real live actual animals get no air time whatsoever. Excellent.

The two of you are perfectly matched.

Do with that comment what you will.

'you should rest'

dang funny.

AGAIN.

Bob Cleveland

I had a pet soccer ball once. We tethered him to a door, to keep the door from bumping into the wall. We didn't have any spare money to buy a doorstop, and the kids didn't want the ball any more, so we put him to work...

I can't think of anything I'd want to eat less than a jar of peaches. Except, of course, a jar of peaches with cigarette butts inside.

for the longest time, my pet was a plant. i named it robert. unlike robert plant, it required very little upkeep and no socks for stuffing in its pants.

Meg

My husband and his housemates had a special jar one year... but it was way more gross than the canned peaches, times infinity. Canned peaches can be good, you know. You guys really should've tried eating them before they turned into Jimmy.

Some people just aren't ready for pet ownership:)

Chesapeake Bay Woman

I just opened up a can of peaches because my children are having some for breakfast today since I was too lazy (plus I'm running late for work)to cut up the fresh peaches on the counter - I'm a good mother that way.

Anyway, now I'm having second thoughts about serving them up. I'd hate to think my kids were eating someone's potential pet.

Hilarious.
